# Manage eSignature requests

Learn how to track the eSignature requests you have sent and how to revoke a request.

Every eSignature request you send appears in the Documents view of the DocExport board. From there, you can check a request's current status and revoke a request that should no longer be signed.

#### Open the Documents view

* Open the **DocExport board view**
* Click on **More**
* Select **Documents**

The list shows your eSignature requests together with their current status, so you can see at a glance which documents are still waiting for a signature.

#### Open the eSignature summary

The eSignature summary shows the full history of a single request, which is useful when you need to prove who signed a document and when.

* Click on the **sign icon** next to the relevant document

<figure><img src="https://1159009676-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMnVzL8c1pE5zXO95iUKm%2Fuploads%2FsiDfLuNML9EWBKTE3evY%2FeSignature%20Status.png?alt=media&amp;token=8f9ce4c5-2a0b-42cd-84e3-7b84f7e9a624" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The summary contains:

* **BoldSign ID:** the unique ID of the signature request with our eSignature provider BoldSign. Please include this ID when you contact our support about a specific request
* **Status:** the current status of the request, for example "Completed", including the name of the person who signed
* **Sent by:** the sender identity the request was sent from
* **Sent on**, **Last activity** and **Completed on:** the time stamps of the signing process
* **File(s):** the document that was sent for signature
* **Document History:** a table with every step of the process, including date and time, IP address, user activity (viewed, signed, completed, downloaded) and the resulting action

You can also click on **Download audit log** to download the audit log PDF again at any time.

#### Revoke an eSignature request

Revoking cancels a request that has already been sent. The signers can no longer open the document, and the link in the signing email stops working.

* Open the **Documents** view as described above
* Find the relevant request in the list
* Click on **Revoke**

<figure><img src="https://1159009676-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMnVzL8c1pE5zXO95iUKm%2Fuploads%2Fwxkc2ZSmPgpoJZ5x5Jeq%2FRevoke.png?alt=media&amp;token=9c0a81ad-8d71-4920-9bad-d9b58956df66" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Good to know

* **Revoking cannot be undone.** If the document still needs to be signed, send a new request by triggering your automation again.
* **Credits are not returned.** A revoked request still counts towards the eSignature requests you have used. See eSignature credits and pricing.
