# Hide default templates

In this article, you will learn how to hide the default templates from the DocExport start page dropdown.

By default, each new DocExport board view includes a set of starter templates to help you get started quickly. If you would prefer to display only your custom templates, follow these steps:

1. Open your DocExport Board View
2. Click on **More**
3. Select **Templates**
4. Uncheck the option "Show default DocExport templates"

**Note:** The default templates are not deleted. You can display them again at any time by checking the box again.
