Initial setup

Follow these steps for the initial set-up and authentication to get started with eSignatures.

Access the eSignature settings

  • Open the DocExport board view

  • Click on "More" and "Signatures"

  • Click on "Signature settings"

  • Upload your company logo. This will be shown in eSignature emails, in the signing portal and in the "Certificate of Completion" (Audit Log). If no logo is uploaded, the "DocExport" logo will be used by default.

  • Define the days to expire. How many days should each eSignature request remain valid?

  • Customize the name that will appear as the sender in the eSignature email (optional)

  • Redirect Url after signing (optional)

  • Click on "Save"

Set up sender identity

This is who the eSignature request will appear to come from. Confirm your email to finalize the setup and start sending requests.

  • Click on "Sender identities"

  • Select "Create new sender identity"

  • Type in the name and the email address of your sender identity you want to use.

  • Click on "Save" and check your email inbox

Check your inbox and confirm sender identity

You should receive an email from our eSignature provider, "BoldSign", allowing "Tower Apps", the company behind DocExport, to send eSignature requests with your sender identity.

Click on "Approve Request" and on "Approve" on the website:

You're almost done!

Go back to the monday.com tab in your browser and click on "I confirmed the email address".

Click on the "Back" button to go back to the settings and to download a starter template.

Generate starter template

In the next step, you can download a starter template with the correct placeholders.

  • Click on "Generate template"

  • Select the number of signers you want to include

  • Click on "Generate template" to download a docx template (Microsoft Word)

  • Open the docx template and make it your own :-)
